An appeal has been launched to help find a man who went missing from a North East town yesterday.

Cleveland Police are appealing for more information in an effort to trace Jamie Ferry, 28, who went missing from the Hartlepool area on Friday (May 26).

He is known to frequent areas around Church St, Hartlepool, and the area along the coast towards Seaton Carew.

Police have said they are concerned for his welfare and have asked the public to contact them with any information regarding his whereabouts.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Police in Hartlepool are appealing for information on the whereabouts of 28 year old Jamie Ferry, missing from the Hartlepool area on the evening of Friday 26th May 2023.

"Jamie is known to frequent areas around Church St, Hartlepool, and the area along the coast towards Seaton Carew. Police have concerns for Jamie's welfare."
