Arne Slot explains X-rated reason behind Liverpool booking he claims was a mistake
Arne Slot has clarified why he received a booking during Liverpool's 2-2 draw away to Arsenal. The Reds twice came from behind to secure a point at the Emirates.
Goals from Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah cancelled out efforts from Bukayo Saka and Mikel Merino respectively.
Liverpool head coach Slot went into the book in the second half, seemingly for remonstrating with the fourth official, however he later explained the incident had stemmed from a misunderstanding.

"Where last time (against Chelsea) I said I completely deserved the yellow card, this time I don’t think I did because I said after so many times (Arsenal) were on the floor, which I don’t blame them as it can happen in football.
"But they always fell down when they had ball possession which took the energy out of the game in my opinion.
"I said to Ibou (Ibrahima Konate): 'This is a ****ing joke', but the fourth official thought I said to him: ‘You are a f***ing joke’, which is definitely not what I said, but I got a yellow for that so now I’m on two and I have to be careful."
Sunday's draw in the capital means the Reds stay second in the Premier League table, a point behind leaders Manchester City, with Arsenal four points behind the Reds in third.
Reflecting on the game, Slot added: "We went two times behind against a very strong and good Arsenal team. To get a point is pleasing to see especially because I had to play an away game in Europe this week.
"We had one day less to recover and prepare. To go two times behind with the fans being so loud and us coming back so strong in the second half because I think we deserved to be 2-1 down at half-time, it was very pleasing to see we had the energy and we were so strong to fight back in the second half."
