Arsenal new 2025/26 kit leaks with massive design U-turn and controversial colour change
The Premier League season is five games old, Arsenal have worn their home kit just three times, and already news of possible designs for the 2025/26 campaign have started to leak. With so much work going on towards the release of club wear, it is no surprise.
Arsenal's current three kits are yet to even all be used. The third jersey, a larey light blue and lavender crossover, hasn't had a runout. The black away one was picked for the north London derby due to the amount of white selected on this year's home top.
All three have had mixed receptions, with many uncertain about the curved side plates on the mainly red home jersey and the general look of the often more out-there third version. The black number has arguably gone down best with its streaks of green.
The club also chose to go with a retro badge, using only the Arsenal cannon rather than a boarded logo with writing. However, that is set to change back next year.
According to reliable kit news source Footy Headlines, Arsenal will ditch the blue added to this year's top and will focus on red and white with a full crest. No other colours are said to be in the plans, making it more akin to the 2022/23 scheme.
There is yet to be any suggestion of just what design will be used. Some interesting calls have been made elsewhere though, with the away kit set to pay homage to the navy and blue shirts from 1995/96.

Once again, there is no design or detail given; however, it is expected to mirror that of a dark blue-light blue contrast with white logos. The kit for the season being used as inspiration was initially made by Nike.
Currently, Arsenal are sponsored by fellow American sportswear giants Adidas in a massive deal that is reportedly worth £600million. That will continue to be the case moving forward, but it hasn't stopped the manufacturers from spinning off previously iconic kits.
On that note, the 2007-2009 tops donned by Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, and Thierry Henry (briefly), among others, have been selected as a throwback for the next instalment of the kit. That is set to be mainly white with a maroon and gold element as well.
In the period mentioned, Arsenal had a basic maroon trim on the collar and sleeves as well as a Nike badge. It is already being spoken up as one of the most eye-catching of recent years.
