Granit Xhaka scored twice on what is likely be his final appearance for Arsenal as the Gunners finished the season in style with a comfortable win over Wolves.

Xhaka is expected to leave Arsenal for Bayer Leverkusen this summer and got a perfect farewell at Emirates Stadium.

Bukayo Saka celebrated his new contract with a goal but was substituted in the second half after being on the receiving end of some strong Wolves challenges.

Gabriel Jesus added a fourth goal early in the second half and Jakub Kiwior scored his first Arsenal goal on a comfortable afternoon for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Xhaka put Arsenal ahead early on when he ghosted into the Wolves area unmarked and headed home a cross from Jesus.

The Swiss midfielder added his second when he took advantage of more slack Wolves defending to finish a lovely Arsenal move by firing home from inside the area.

Saka weaved his way into the Wolves box before curling home a brilliant third goal and Xhaka then missed a great chance for his hat-trick when shot wide.

Thomas Partey had a goal ruled out early in the second half but Arsenal did add a fourth when Leandro Trossard floated a cross for Jesus to power home a header.

Kiwior got in on the act when Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa fumbles a tame effort into the back of the net.
