Ceballos and Luiz were involved in a scuffle last Friday as the pair became heated during a training session at London Colney.
The incident was part of a turbulent international break for Arsenal, which also included Willian being photographed in a Dubai restaurant and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sleeping in an airport before playing 90 minutes for Gabon.
Arteta will hope the Gunners can swiftly put all that behind them as they head to Leeds United on Sunday and he was adamant on Friday morning that there are no issues between Luiz and Ceballos.
“No problem at all,” said Arteta. “Training is very competitive and issues happen a lot of times. Those things get resolved immediately within the team and there is not much to say.”
Asked if he saw what happened between Ceballos and Luiz, Arteta joked: “No, I have got really bad vision from far. That is why we train behind closed doors.”
Arteta will be keen to move on from the incident regarding Ceballos and Luiz, and he plans to do the same with regards to Willian’s trip to Dubai. The Brazilian was pictured on the Instagram of Nusret Gokce, the famous restaurateur better known as “Salt Bae”, at his Nusr-Et steakhouse on Monday.
It is understood Willian made the trip for business reasons - thought to be in order to fulfil image contracts in Asia - and Arteta refused to confirm on Friday if the player had broken club protocol or whether he would be dropped for Sunday’s trip to Leeds.
“Well, we had a conversation and I explained what I was expecting,” said Arteta. “There are a lot of personal factors at the moment and as well from our side we need to be in their shoes. A lot of players are having different issues, like any public person out there, and sometimes they make decisions based on the needs or the moment, or what people are expecting from them.
“Whether they are right or wrong, after obviously it is a thing we have to discuss. But, again, it has been dealt with in the right way and let’s move on.”
Arsenal will travel to Leeds on Sunday without midfielder Thomas Partey, who has not recovered from a thigh injury picked up against Aston Villa before the international break.
Mohamed Elneny and Sead Kolasinac are unavailable too after testing positive for Covid-19 while on international duty, but Aubameyang is fit despite sleeping in an airport before playing 90 minutes for Gabon on Monday.
“Sometimes things happen, unpredictable things happen. It was an experience,” said Arteta. “I said to Auba: ‘Take it as anexperience. I am sure for many months or years you haven’t slept on the floor!
"Take it from there and just make sure when you are in your bed you know how good it is, how comfortable you are and how lucky you are.’ And that is it.”
