The Premier League only concluded eight days ago but already there has been news of major shake-ups that could change the complexion of the next campaign.

Chelsea announced last week that Mauricio Pochettino has left the club by mutual consent, despite finishing sixth in the table and reaching Wembley twice for the Carabao Cup final and FA Cup semi-finals. The hunt for a new manager has already commenced.

Roberto De Zerbi left Brighton upon the end of their season and has been linked with Stamford Bridge. However, it seems Enzo Maresca is the leading candidate with understanding that talks with newly-promoted Leicester have taken place.

Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna had also been linked, having guided the Tractor Boys to back-to-back promotions. He is open to the role at Manchester United, who may well sack Erik ten Hag.

Reports broke just 24 hours before his FA Cup final win over Manchester City that the Dutchman was due to be sacked this summer, regardless of the result. Man City fans themselves have been reading reports that suggest next season might be Pep Guardiola’s last at the Etihad Stadium.

All the while, Southampton defeated Leeds United in the Championship play-off final on Sunday to complete the Premier League set for the 2024/25 campaign. They, like all clubs, will be eager to find out who they face when.

Arsenal and Mikel Arteta will be keen to plot out their league season as they attempt to finally usurp Man City as Tottenham spy a top-four finish under Ange Postecoglou’s second season.

They will not have to wait long to find out with the fixtures to be released within the next month. The Premier League has confirmed that they will be made public at 9am on Tuesday, June 18.

That falls at the end of the first set of Euro 2024 group fixtures, two days after England open their tournament against Serbia and two days prior to the match with Denmark. The new Premier League season will begin on August 17, a month after the Euro 2024 final, and will conclude on May 25, 2025.
