Arsenal are close to agreeing on a fresh deal for Bukayo Saka which is worth over £200k per week according to the latest reports.

Saka has been in fine form for the Gunners this season and he has richly deserved a new bumper deal at the club.

The 21-year-old has been one of the figureheads of Mikel Arteta’s side and he has continued to improve under the Spanish manager.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Arsenal are now close to agreeing on a new deal for Saka which is worth a minimum of £10million-a-year.

The report claims the new deal, inclusive of bonuses ‘would likely make him the club’s best paid player.’

Saka is now entering into the final 12 months of his current deal, but the club do have an option to extend this by another year.

The fresh contract will tie Saka down until the summer of 2028 and will see him commit his long-term future to the club.

With nine goals and eight assists in the Premier League this season, Saka has been one of Arsenal’s most productive players.

Fans and pundits alike have been quick to hail his impact on this Arsenal side as he has played a key role in their title challenge so far.
