Many Arsenal fans were left in a state of confusion on Wednesday night, after the club fired off a misleading tweet suggesting Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was moving to Borussia Dortmund, as per The Sun.
The tweet - related to Oxlade-Chamberlain's England call up against Germany - was misinterpreted by many fans, who began thinking a silent transfer saga was unravelling right in front of their eyes.

England took on Germany in an international friendly on Wednesday evening, and prior to kick-off, Arsenal sent the above tweet.
While the pacey winger made the squad, the message could have been interpreted in different ways, leading some fans to think the Ox might be leaving the club for Dortmund - we can now confirm that the Ox will not be leaving (or not to Dortmund in this instance).
Lukas Podolski rifled a rocket past Joe Hart to seal a Germany win in what was the final international game of his career; meanwhile, while Oxlade made the trip to the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund, he wasn't utilised.
Gareth Southgate - in what was his first official outing as full-time England coach - favoured Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard in flank positions, giving the youngsters another international cap.
