When Arsenal forced Jamie Carragher into brutal outburst after Liverpool game
Jamie Carragher ruffled a few feathers with his comments after Arsenal beat Liverpool 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium last season. Mikel Arteta's side secured a mammoth win in their pursuit of the Premier League title, thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.
The Gunners took the lead in the first-half through a fine strike from Saka - but were pegged back just before the interval as Gabriel scored an own-goal. Arteta's men went back in front when Gabriel Martinelli found the back of the net and Trossard scored in stoppage-time to wrap up the points.
There were jubilant scenes after the full-time whistle - with Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard borrowing a camera from a club photographer to capture the moment.
That didn't go down well with ex-Liverpool defender Carragher, who suggested while on punditry duties for Sky Sports that the Arsenal players should 'get down the tunnel'. It was a jibe that was slightly tongue-in-cheek, as he also went in to quote Neil Warnock by claiming that celebrations should be 'disciplined'.
Carragher's words did not go unnoticed among the Arsenal fanbase, with passionate supporter Piers Morgan and former Gunners striker Ian Wright both getting involved.
Wright said: "What is wrong with the captain doing that? Why is everybody trying to kill the joy? Don't kill the joy. There is still so much of the season to go. As soon as Arsenal do anything, they just come under the pile on. It's like we can't have any joy. Don't let them spoil the joy - keep doing what you're doing."

TV host Morgan said in a post of his own: "Calm down, calm down, @Carra23 - we battered you - and we're going to enjoy every second."
In the end, Arsenal failed to win the Premier League title and finished second - two points behind champions Manchester City. Liverpool, meanwhile, were in the race up until April before falling off and ending up finishing seven points behind the Gunners in third spot.
This season, both teams will be expecting to be in and around the title picture come the end of the campaign. Arsenal have picked up 17 points from their opening eight matches and suffered their first defeat at Bournemouth last weekend, while Liverpool are top on 21 having won seven from eight.
