Arsenal could be without a number of key players for Sunday's trip to rivals Tottenham. Mikel Arteta's side made a perfect start to the season, winning their first two matches before being held to a 1-1 draw against Brighton before September's international break.

The Gunners will be eager to get back to winning ways - not to mention grab bragging rights - but they are in the midst of an early-season injury crisis. Rice will serve his one-match suspension, following his controversial red card against the Seagulls, while Martin Odegaard, Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gabriel Jesus and Kieran Tierney could all miss the North London Derby through injury.

Odegaard suffered an ankle problem while playing for Norway on Monday night and he's set to be ruled out for at least three weeks. Calafiori was stretchered off during Italy's 3-1 win over France last weekend, Merino is expected to be unavailable for around a month after injuring his shoulder in training and Tomiyasu is set to return at the end of the month after being out with a knee issue.

Tierney has been missing with a thigh injury, although Jesus could return for the North London Derby after a groin problem. It's been a frustrating start to the campaign on the injury front for the Gunners, but how does the current situation compare to their rivals?

Right now, Arsenal have the joint-most amount of players unavailable, as per Premier Injuries. Manchester United, Brighton and Newcastle are level with the Gunners on seven.

United are without Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia and Mason Mount until at least next month, while Rasmus Hojlund, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw and Bruno Fernandes could return this weekend. Yoro has an ankle issue, Malacia has injured his knee and Mount has a thigh problem.

Manchester City have four players on the injury list. England star Phil Foden and Savinho could be back for this weekend's home game against Brentford, while Oscar Bobb is out for a significant period after fracturing his leg and there are concerns over the fitness of Nathan Ake after he was stretchered off while playing for Netherlands.

Liverpool also have four out. Alexis MacAllister, Federico Chiesa and Curtis Jones should return for this Saturday's clash against Nottingham Forest, but Harvey Elliott is out until at least the end of October after fracturing his foot while on England U21s duty.

Tottenham have four out, too. Yves Bissouma, Micky van de Ven, Dominic Solanke could all return to face Arsenal, but Sunday's game might prove to be too soon for Richarlison.

Chelsea are without six players at the moment. Reece James has a thigh problem and is set to be out until the end of the month, while Cole Palmer and Romeo Lavia are expected to be fit for their trip to Bournemouth. Malo Gusto, Omari Kellyman and Filip Jorgensen could also be out.
