Arsenal and Manchester United have both sent scouts out to watch Real Betis winger Luiz Henrique, according to reports in Spain.

Henrique only joined the Spanish club last July, signing for €8million from Fluminese in his native Brazil.

The 22-year-old has become a mainstay in Manuel Pellegrini’s team and recently notched two assists in his side’s Copa del Rey penalty shootout loss to Barcelona.

He has provided eight goal contributions in 22 matches across all competitions this term and featured in all six of Betis’ Europa League group-stage encounters.

Betis finished top of their group ahead of Roma, winning five and drawing one of their matches.

Given his form in recent weeks, there is plenty of interest in Henrique.

According to Sevilla ABC, Arsenal and Manchester United have both ‘scouted’ the Brazilian winger.

That is all the report says about interest from the Premier League, but thankfully Fichajes give us a little more to work with.

Henrique’s ‘MVP’ performance against Barcelona has ‘aroused the interest’ of several Premier League clubs.

Arsenal have sent ‘several scouts’ to watch the former Fluminese player with the Gunners now ‘closely observing’ his situation.

United, like Arsenal, have sent scouts to watch the ‘key’ Betis player, who reportedly has a whopping €100m release clause.

It has also been claimed by Marca that Newcastle United and Aston Villa have expressed an interest in Henrique.

All four clubs are ‘considering’ making a bid before the end of the winter transfer window.

Another La Liga winger to be linked with a move to the Premier League is Villarreal youngster Yeremi Pino.

It was no surprise to see Aston Villa linked with the Spain international after they snapped up manager Unai Emery from the Yellow Submarine.

Liverpool and Arsenal were strongly linked last summer, though rumours have simmered in recent months.

Villarreal reportedly want €80m (£70.9m) for Pino, which should put off interested parties.

Pino has played 23 games this season, scoring twice and assisting once.
