Arsenal duo Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny are among the list of targets for Marseille this summer, according to reports.

The Ligue 1 club is aiming to challenge Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain at the top of the table next season, with American businessman Frank McCourt backing the club.

French national team players Giroud and Koscielny have been discussed as targets for the summer, according to the Daily Mail, but the club has yet to make an official offer.

Giroud still has three years left on his contract at the Emirates stadium while Koscielny has been a key member of Arsene Wenger’s defense.

Marseille may look to pounce upon the uncertainty in north London this season, however, with Wenger’s contract expiring in June and his future unclear.

The report says the French club is also keen on Yohan Cabaye and Steve Mandanda, of Crystal Palace, as well as Tottenham’s Moussa Sissoko and Edin Dzeko of Roma.

Marseille looks unlikely to be able to offer Champions League football next season. The club is sixth in the table and 28 points off leaders Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain.

The summer transfer window will open on July 1.
