Arsenal next five Premier League fixtures compared to Liverpool and Man City after West Ham win

Arsenal scored five goals for the second time in a week as they beat West Ham 5-2 in the Premier League on Saturday. Gabriel Magalhaes, Leandro Trossard, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka were all on target with goals from Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Emerson for the Hammers, that looked to have started a comeback, merely consolations.

The Gunners headed into the London derby after dominating Sporting CP in the Champions League on Wednesday evening. Gabriel was a major injury doubt in the lead up to that game but he was named in the starting XI. Thomas Partey and Mikel Merino however, were not included in the matchday squad.

Despite starting, Gabriel was subbed off at half time with an injury. While that is a concern just a few days ahead of the Gunners' Premier League clash against Manchester United, Arsenal head into that game at Emirates Stadium full of confidence.

Arsenal have a favourable run of fixtures over the next few weeks, starting with the visit of Man United. Though the arrival of Ruben Amorim has seen United make improvements, there are still clear problems to solve especially defensively which Arsenal can take advantage of.

Following that, another clash in London arrives with a trip to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham. Everton then head to Emirates Stadium with Arsenal as huge favourites given the Toffees' position in the Premier League table and recent run of results.

A game against Crystal Palace is arguably the most difficult test for Arsenal over the Christmas period with Selhurst Park often presenting a hostile atmosphere.
