Even though the January window has yet to open, Arsenal have been credited with an interest in several potential new signings who could be added to Arteta's squad following the six new arrivals from last summer.
Arsenal are currently third in the Premier League table and six points adrift of leaders Liverpool who have a game in hand, and the Gunners will hope that the second half of the campaign will see the club close the gap at the top of the league standings.
Here, football.london takes a look at some of the latest Arsenal transfer news and gossip that has generated headlines over the last 24 hours.
Arsenal are being linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani. According to TBR Football, the Gunners are considering a move to sign a new centre forward when the transfer window opens in the New Year.
The report claims Arsenal will face competition from Manchester United and Manchester City for Kolo Muani's signature, with the striker thought to be valued at £64million. It has been suggested that the Gunners have now ramped up their interest in signing the France international ahead of the January transfer window.
PSG will reportedly allow Kolo Muani to leave the club in January on a loan deal, with the possibility of the move being made permanent next summer. It has been reported that Arsenal are open to the idea of signing the striker on loan in the New Year if a move presents itself.
Elsewhere, Arsenal are continuing to be linked with a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. According to Italian news outlet Spazioj.it, the Gunners are plotting to make an offer to sign the Serbia international in the January transfer window.
The report claims that the Gunners are considering the possibility of a swap deal to bring Vlahovic to the Emirates. The proposal involves Gabriel Jesus, who has been named as the Arsenal player who could be offered to Juve as part of a deal to see Vlahovic move to north London. Jesus signed for Arsenal from Man City in the summer of 2022 for a fee that could reach £45million.
It has also been suggested that Juventus may also want a defender instead of Jesus as part of a swap deal for Vlahovic. As a result, Arsenal star Jakub Kiwior has been mentioned in the report as being a player of interest to the Serie A giants.
