Arsenal are being heavily linked with West Ham’s Declan Rice and they are looking to strengthen ahead of their return to the Champions League.

Liverpool meanwhile are expected to overhaul their squad following their disappointing campaign this time around under Jurgen Klopp.

Lindstrom appears to be an option for both clubs amid his excellent form for Frankfurt. He is more attack-minded than their alternative targets and he is capable of playing on the flanks as a winger.

The 23-year-old has grabbed nine goals and four assists across all competitions for Frankfurt, who are currently ninth in the Bundesliga.

SportBILD (via Sport Witness) are reporting that Frankfurt are preparing for a ‘substantial increase in transfers’ this summer.

Lindstrom has been picked out as one player who can ‘bring in a big transfer fee’. There is the feeling that he could ‘fetch over €30m’ with him on Arsenal, Liverpool and Napoli’s ‘list’ of targets.

Arsenal have also been consistently linked with several wingers over the past year. They were seriously interested in Mykhaylo Mudryk prior to the Ukrainian’s move to Chelsea during the January transfer window.

After this transfer was completed, Arsenal turned their attention to alternative targets and Leandro Trossard was brought in from Brighton.

The Belgium international grabbed seven goals and two assists in 16 appearances for Brighton in the Premier League prior to the January transfer window.

Arsenal brought him in for around £27m in January and he has managed to make a significant impact for the Premier League title challengers. He has been involved in nine goals in just 16 league outings for the Gunners.

According to Football Insider, Arsenal remain in the market for a winger and they are ‘plotting a surprise move to sign Pedro Neto’ from Wolves.

The Gunners were actually linked with the 23-year-old last year but he has missed much of this season as a result of a serious ankle injury. He has been eased back into the fold in recent weeks since returning in March. The report claims.

‘Arsenal are considering a return for long-term target Neto in the summer window

‘It is believed that the Gunners are monitoring the 23-year-old Wolves star’s situation as he makes a steady comeback from yet another long-term injury.

‘A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Arsenal will be in the market for another winger in the off-season as they target a backup for star man Bukayo Saka.’
