Will Arsenal sign a forward? Garcia personal terms agreed, Partey future, Nico Williams blow
There are is not long to go in the transfer window, and Arsenal have a lot that they still need to do.
Eddie Nketiah is nearing a move to Crystal Palace that should be worth around £30million. The business is unlikely to stop there though.
The Gunners are in the market for a forward as Mikel Arteta seeks to bolster a backline that he admits is short. There are also decisions that need to be made with regards to the future of Aaron Ramsdale. If the England international leaves then Arsenal will need to sign at least one goalkeeper to replace him.
With all that going on it felt like the perfect time for a Q&A with football.london's chief Arsenal correspondent Kaya Kaynak. You can look back on some of the highlights below.

Q: Are Arsenal willing to extend the contracts of Partey and Jorginho?
KK: As far as I'm aware there haven't been any talks over an extension for Thomas Partey just yet. There were suggestions over a slightly longer extension for Jorginho, but as far as I'm aware he's done at the end of this year and again no talks have taken place over an extension. Plenty of time between now and the end of the season though.
Q: Do you think Nwaneri and MLS are in Arsenal's long-term plans?
KK: Both have been given contracts that have years to run so as it stands they're in the first team plans. Ethan Nwaneri in particular is in the first team plans after Fabio Vieira's departure this season which should be exciting. Fingers crossed we'll see plenty of the pair of them this campaign.
Q: Are we getting a forward? As minutes tick by it seems not. Are arsenal at least trying?
KK: Hey, Arsenal are definitely trying to get a forward. There are a few irons in the fire between now and deadline day on Friday and Arsenal have kept tabs on their targets all summer. Obviously Nico Williams was the preference, but that's not looking likely to happen as things stand.
Q: There's plenty of words that Arsenal agreed on personal terms with Garcia but no words are coming out for club negotiation. Is that because Arsenal are planning to activate the release clause as soon as Ramsdale leaves?
KK: This late in the window, there's no way that Espanyol are going to accept anything less than a full release clause for Joan Garcia. That makes personal terms essential as Arsenal know they will have to move fast. Hence why they've got that done nice and early.
