Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe has pinpointed one part of his game he wants to improve upon and is taking inspiration from four Premier League rivals to do so.

The Gunners no.10 has enjoyed a remarkable rise to prominence in north London, making 70 appearances for the club over the past two seasons compared to just 12 the two campaigns prior.

Last season, having been handed the iconic shirt number, he scored 10 league goals - hitting double figures for the first time - just still ended the season with a slight disappointment.

He told the Mail: "I didn’t really get many assists last season. That is one factor I am going to try and improve this season."

Smith Rowe last season recorded just two assists for Arsenal, and a further one for England, but is looking to learn from the Premier League's best to improve his return.

"[I have been] studying, watching games and clips. Seeing where I should have passed it, or the timing of my passes, and where I can create more chances.

"Obviously not just me, watching other players in the league as well."

Asked who he has been 'studying', Smith Rowe replied: "Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount."
