West Ham have reportedly outlined their stance on the future of Mohammed Kudus amid apparent interest from Arsenal.

The Gunners were previously linked with a move for Kudus during the summer transfer window, but the Ghana international instead remained at the London Stadium.

Kudus enjoyed an impressive debut season for the Hammers last term with 18 goals in all competitions following his move from Ajax in the summer of 2023.

This year, though, has seen Kudus scored just twice across 10 appearances, and has missed the last three Premier League matches with a suspension following his red card against Tottenham Hotspur last month.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal still have an interest in signing Kudus but will face competition from Liverpool for his signature. The report claims that both the Gunners and the Merseyside club are monitoring Kudus ahead of a potential move next summer.

It has been claimed in the report that West Ham will not accept a fee any lower than the £85million release clause that is in Kudus' contract. The clause will become active at the end of the season, meaning if a move in January is to become possible then any interested club may need to pay a higher fee.

The report goes on to claim that, even though Kudus is happy at West Ham, he would be interested in a move to a new club if Champions League football is on offer.

The majority of the transfer links concerning Arsenal over the last few months have been centred around a potential move for a striker. Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen and Benjamin Sesko are just a few centre forwards to have been credited as potential targets for the Gunners.

Kudus has played on either the left or ring wing for West Ham during his time at the London Stadium. If Arsenal want to add more depth in their wide forward options, rather than a new striker, then Kudus certainly fits the bill.
