Arsenal and Tottenham watch on as Randal Kolo Muani loan falls into doubt despite confirmation
Randal Kolo Muani's expected loan move to Juventus has been thrown into doubt in bizarre circumstances, though it is not a situation that is expected to put Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur on high alert.
Managers of both north London clubs have previously spoken of their desire to recruit a forward this month. Mikel Arteta did so most recently in reaction to Gabriel Jesus' season-ending injury.
He said: "For sure we are going to try on the market and we want to reinforce attack. We've lost two big players, Bukayo [Saka] for up for three months and Gabriel Jesus will be out for a long time."

Believing his own team are short of inspiration on the goalscoring front, Ange Postecoglou previously said similar.
"Hopefully in the very near future we get some help for him and then I think we’ll see him (Dominic Solanke) go to another level."
To that end, both were linked with Kolo Muani. The French national had fallen out of favour at Paris Saint-Germain and was linked with a temporary Premier League switch before it emerged Juventus were winning the race.
That deal has been progressing in accordance with reports on the continent in recent days, up until today when Juve manager Thiago Motta offered a positive update for fans of his club.
"Kolo Muani will be a new Juventus player, it is all good. We are waiting for the formal documents and then he will be ready to play. I am so happy," he confirmed.
However, the saga has taken a twist according to Gianluca Di Marzio. PSG have discovered they have already reached the maximum six senior players they are allowed to have loaned out at any one given time, therefore are scrambling to resolve the issue before Kolo Muani's move can be confirmed.
If this was an issue brought about by the Italian club then maybe Arsenal and Spurs could have been given newfound hope, though after this report it is said the current plan is unfortunately 'not at risk'.
Asked specifically about whether missing out on the attacker is a setback, Postecoglou responded: "For me? No."
