Arsenal are intent on bolstering their squad in the final week of the transfer window.

The need for a new striker was keenly evident on the weekend as the Gunners rounded off a miserable month on the pitch with a goalless draw against Burnley.

But Mikel Arteta is also hunting down fresh creativity in the midfield and extra defenders to boost their top-four bid.

Several players are earmarked to head in the opposite direction, potentially including former club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Dusan Vlahovic

Personal terms have already been agreed between Vlahovic and Juventus over a £110,000-a-week contract for the Serbian striker.

That is according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, who reveal the £58million price tag Fiorentina hold over Vlahovic that is the next step in the Serie A sides’ deal. Arsenal have already offered £50m plus Lucas Torreira.

It is said by Corriere Fiorentino that the player has no intention of moving to North London with Juve his preferred destination.

Alexander Isak

Arsenal’s attention will turn to Real Sociedad striker Isak once Vlahovic is finally struck off as a target, according to Standard Sport’s Simon Collings.

The good news is that the Swede is readily available for £75m, which is his release clause, making it the “easier” deal to complete in the final days of this window.

The Athletic add that the Gunners will attempt to negotiate the deal at a lower price.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Two offers from Saudi Arabia have been rebuffed by Aubameyang as his exile from the Arsenal squad continues.

The Telegraph claim that a move to Europe is his preference, with Juventus, AC Milan, Sevilla, PSG, Marseille and Barcelona all monitoring his situation.

Arsenal would even be willing to negotiate how much of the striker’s £350,000-a-week wages they would still pay while he plays elsewhere on loan.

Arthur Melo

Juventus will only be willing to let Brazilian playmaker Arthur leave when a replacement can be found, according to Standard Sport’s Simon Collings.

Arsenal are keen on a loan deal with Tuttosport reporting on Arteta being happy to take the player on an 18-month loan, which would be the Bianconeri’s preference.

At 90min, it is claimed that personal terms are agreed between club and player.

Renato Sanches

Lille midfielder Renato Sanches has namechecked the Gunners in his public call-out for a January transfer.

“Maybe Milan and Arsenal are interested but I don’t know,” said Sanches. “I spoke with my agent, I know which clubs are calling me but I can’t say right now.

“But I know I’m ready. If an offer comes in, I’ll find out what’s best for me.”
