The Easter weekend is here and the sweetest thing it brings along is the promise of club football. Arsenal play Stoke City at home on Sunday, and here are the key points to watch out in the game:

A big win will spell a big end to the season

Let’s be honest here, Stoke is one of those teams nearly everyone likes seeing take a beating to. And no one would be more pleased about it than Arsenal fans. Ever since the injury Ramsey at their stadium, there has been a lot of bad blood between the clubs.

Wenger’s men should be looking to win big at the Emirates on Sunday. With the UEL quarters against CSKA Moscow in midweek, this would be the perfect confidence booster.

What’s more, Stoke have not won a game in London in 17 Premier League matches. A goal-fest would be the best fix in order to get everyone at the club feeling their best for the last 8 games. And if we get to see the best of Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan right after international week, triple bonus points.

Returning Lacazette needs to be used carefully

Speaking of feeling good, the fans will be delighted to see Alexandre Lacazette back on the training pitch last week. Arsenal just about got the job done with Welbeck against Milan but will know Lacazette holds the key to the Europa League.

Against Stoke, it is unlikely the French striker will feature. If he does, Wenger should be wise enough not to put him on for too long.

After all, nothing would give the Potters more pleasure than ruining Arsenal’s chances in Europe by injuring their only decent striker in the competition.

Clean bill of health will boost Arsenal

As far as the rest of the squad is concerned, it appears that the Gunners have everyone fit, bar Cazorla. The Spaniard’s long-term injury will keep him out for the season, but it will be good to have everyone else back.

Monreal, Bellerin and Mustafi got a well-deserved rest over the week while Koscielny was unscathed in the France-Russia game. It is imperative for Wenger to have his back four fit for the remaining months of this season.

This means rotation would be key as well, and players like Kolasinac and Maitland-Niles should be hopeful for a few more starts. Perhaps with that in mind, Wenger will give us all a very happy Easter.
