Arsenal enter their Europa League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt under a huge burden of pressure, however, a point alone will be enough to secure Unai Emery‘s side a place in the knockout stages.

The Gunners are winless in their last six matches – their worst run of form in over 20 years – and Emery is hanging by a thread as speculation turns rife over his possible successor.

However, the reverse fixture brought a happier result for Arsenal when they thrashed the Bundesliga side 3-0 away from home.

Frankfurt are also struggling for form and enter the fixture having lost their last three matches, but remain firmly in contention to qualify for the knockout rounds if they can leave the Emirates with a victory.

Here is everything you need to know:

Official line-ups

Arsenal XI: Martinez; Mustafi, Luiz, Sokratis; Chambers, Xhaka, Willock, Tierney; Martinelli, Aubameyang, Saka

Eintracht XI: Ronnow, Fernandes, Sow, Kostic, Hinteregger, Kamada, Abraham, Hasebe, De Costa, Silva, Paciencia

Frankfurt are without long-term absentees Marco Russ and Kevin Trapp.

  • Arsenal to win: 10/11

  • Draw: 12/5

  • Eintracht to win: 15/5

Prediction:

Arsenal have been utterly listless in recent weeks and, although that will have had less of a damning impact on the morale of their exciting crop of academy graduates, the increased pressure on the manager and eerie atmosphere at the stadium will make it hard for them to grind out an uplifting result.
