One of the biggest match-ups of the Premier League season will be missing some of the biggest names this week. The second North London Derby of the Premier League season will be an evening encounter, with Arsenal and Tottenham once again doing battle at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners took bragging rights in the first clash of the campaign with a Gabriel Magalhaes header enough to hand Mikel Arteta 's men all three points at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September.

The two old rivals will renew acquaintances in north London on Wednesday night as Spurs make the short trip to the Emirates Stadium.

But while Tottenham's injury issues have been well documented this season, their hosts are having a bit of an injury crisis of their own now. That means the big clash will be missing some key players.

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou will be without no fewer than seven players for the trip across the north London divide, giving him little in the way of selection dilemmas for the clash.

Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario remains sidelined with a fractured ankle, with defenders Ben Davies, Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie all out with hamstring problems.

Rodrigo Bentancur will remain out due to the FA's protocols on head injuries requiring two weeks without action. Wilson Odobert remains on the long-term injured list, while Richarlison is on the way back from his injury but will not be risked after Postecoglou said he would be given two weeks before being considered - this is his second week back.

Arteta will still be without main man Bukayo Saka due to a hamstring injury, with young replacement Ethan Nwaneri also on the sidelines now with a muscular problem.

Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are not yet ready to return from the long-term injured list, while Arsenal suffered another setback on Sunday when Gabriel Jesus was stretchered off in the FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.
