Players will be on court shortly after 8.30am BST and the final will get under way after a five minute warm up.

Eurosport has the broadcasting rights to live action from Melbourne. Barbara Schett and Mischa Zverev are covering the action on-site. What's the prize money for the women's final?

The winner of the final will receive a cheque for £2.3m. The loser will walk away with around £1.2m.
