Asian Curry Awards 2023: All 13 Greater Manchester Restaurants shortlisted
A number of Greater Manchester restaurants have been nominated in this year’s Asian Curry Awards.
Dubbed the “Curry Oscars,” the awards, organised by the Asian Catering Federation (ACF), celebrate the whole range of Asian cuisines, including Bangladeshi, Burmese, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Middle Eastern, Pakistani, Singaporean, Sri Lankan, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese restaurants and takeaways.
Online voting is now via the Asian Curry Awards website, which will whittle the shortlist down from 200 to 100. A panel of judges will then assess the restaurants and determine the category winner.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner and ceremony in London on 19 November.

The European Union and Britain need to take urgent action to postpone rules for electric vehicles traded between the bloc and the UK that will trigger 10% tariffs, Europe's car industry group said on Monday. "Driving up consumer prices of European electric vehicles, at the very time when we need to fight for market share in the face of fierce international competition, is not the right move," European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) president and Renault CEO Luca de Meo said in a statement ahead of a planned trade meeting between EU and UK officials this week.
