Aston Villa fixture change confirmed as FA Cup clash selected for TV broadcast

Aston Villa's FA Cup third round tie with West Ham United has been selected for television broadcast.

The game will kick-off at 8pm on Friday, January 10 and will be shown live on ITV1, ITVX and STV. Villa beat Middlesbrough in the third round last year, before losing to Chelsea in a fourth round replay at Villa Park having drawn 0-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Stevenage caused a shock when they won at Villa Park in the third round in 2022/23 not long after Unai Emery was appointed as the Villa head coach following Steven Gerrard's sacking. Villa have only progressed past the third round of the FA Cup twice since 2016.
