Aston Villa issue urgent Monaco Champions League ticket update amid delays and cancellations

Aston Villa have issued an important update to supporters about collecting tickets at Louis II Stadium for today’s Champions League clash with Monaco.

Unai Emery’s side face Monaco in their latest league phase tie on Tuesday, with kick-off set for 5:45pm. After four wins from their opening six matches in the competition, they could take another big step towards qualifying for the knockout stages with a positive result.

Villa have issued a statement to those fans travelling to the match in the wake of “a small number” of cancelled and delayed flights.

The official account for the Aston Villa ticketing team, AVFC Support, posted an update on social media platform X, which read: “We are aware of a small number of cancelled / delayed flights that have affected supporters travelling to Monaco for this evenings game.

“AVFC staff will be located in a cabin outside the away turnstiles, to assist supporters who were unable to collect their tickets from the original collection point.

“This will be open until kick-off.”
