Atletico Star Antoine Griezmann Claims Champions League Clash With Leicester Won't Be Nice to Watch

Atletico Madrid superstar has dampened enthusiasm for his side's upcoming Champions League quarter final tie with Premier League champions Leicester City, hinting that neutral fans may want to consider picking a different game to watch on TV.

The French forward spoke at a promotional event for a shampoo, ahead of a huge week for Atletico.

The Rojiblancos take on Leicester at the Vicente Calderon Stadium in Madrid next Wednesday, following the hotly-anticipated Madrid derby at the Bernabeu on Saturday.

Despite the Foxes issues domestically this season, Griezmann claimed his side have the tougher of all fixtures in the last eight of the Champions League.

"I think we have the most difficult game," he said, as quoted by AS.

"The Real Madrid (v Bayern Munich) and Barcelona (v Juventus) games will be nice ones to watch, the Monaco (v Borussia Dortmund) game too.

"All the games will be tough, but ours will not be a nice match to watch on the television.

"It will be tough with both sides putting in a lot of work. I just hope we get to that game in good shape."

Leicester have undergone a mini-revival since the alarming form in the first half of the Premier League season that saw Claudio Ranieri lose his job, despite last season's title heroics.

The Foxes have won six on the spin, since Craig Shakespeare's February appointment as manager, including an impressive win over Sevilla in the last 16 of the Champions League.
