The end-of-season finale saw Eva-Maria Brem, Michaela Kirchgasser, Marcel Mathis and Philipp Schoerghofer beat Switzerland 3-1 in the final.
Such events see teams of two men and two women face off on parallel giant slalom courses.
The Swiss were always up against it after Lara Gut pulled out with a back injury, leaving a team of three to face the Austrians - Kirchgasser raced unopposed in her absence.
Sweden came third after a 3-1 win over the United States, who lost Resi Stiegler to a knee injury in the opening run.
Stiegler will miss the final women’s slalom of the season on Saturday, a race she qualified for by coming second in Ofterschwang - her first podium of an injury-ridden season.
The team competition does not count towards World Cup points.
