Bad Boys 4 brings back High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens
Bad Boys 4 will see the return of Vanessa Hudgens as weapon specialist Kelly.
Hudgens joined the Bad Boys franchise for the third instalment – Bad Boys for Life – in 2020, and it has been revealed that she will be stepping back into the dangerous role alongside co-stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence for the highly anticipated fourth outing.
Bad Boys 4 also brings back directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah and script writer Chris Bremner from the third film.

Little is known about the fourth film but filming is reported to begin in the next few months, according to Deadline. Further casting is yet to be announced, which also raises the question of whether or not any other franchise actors will join the next instalment.
Hudgens' Bad Boys bad girl role was a change from her usual rom-com and musical back catalogue which includes the likes of the Princess Switch and tick, tick...BOOM!.
Hudgens' character Kelly is no stranger to a shoot-off and, along with fellow Advanced Miami Metro Operations (A.M.M.O.) operatives, helped Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) take down bad guys in the third flick.

The High School Musical star also recently announced her engagement to Cole Tucker on her Instagram account, saying that she couldn't be "happier".
If the engagement wasn't keeping her busy enough, the star will be on fans' screens a lot over the coming months with a number of upcoming projects, including Downtown Owl, which stars Henry Golding and French Girl, which stars Zach Braff.
Directors Arbi and Fallah have also had a busy few months working on the Batgirl live-action movie, which was sadly recently cancelled, with the pair taking to social media to say: "We are saddened and shocked by the news. We still can't believe it. As directors, it is critical that our work be shown to audiences, and while the film was far from finished, we wish that fans all over the world would have had the opportunity to see and experience the final film themselves."
Bad Boys 4 is yet to receive a release window.
