The Kiwis will be led by Tom Latham in the absence of regular players like Kane Williamson, Martin Guptill, Devon Conway and Glenn Phillips. Colin De Grandhomme will be their all-rounder in the middle order with Ajaz Khan leading the spin attack.

Conditions in Bangladesh will be spin-friendly. The pitches will wear out by the second innings and the ball will start to turn and grip more than the first innings. The Kiwi batters will have to play the balls on length and with decisive footwork.
