Barbie will soon be on the big screen as the highly-anticipated movie is set to arrive in cinemas later this summer, and fans have once again been treated to a new trailer.

The film initially sparked excitement among movie-goers back in December 2022 when the first teaser trailer was released.

Again in April, we got another trailer showcasing the film’s star-studded cast, led by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling (as Barbie and Ken) in Barbie Land.

However, the latest trailer shares a glimpse at Barbie’s interactions in the "real world".

The trailer sees Robbie’s Barbie being offered a huge opportunity as she’s asked if she’d like to return to her own life or "know the truth about the real world".

It seems Barbie is going to choose the latter as we see her struggle to embrace the harsh realities of life away from Barbie Land.

It looks as though adapting to our world is going to be a challenging task for Barbie throughout the film, as in one scene she’s seen getting her fingerprints taken at a police station and in another she’s trying to escape Mattel's CEO (played by Will Ferrell).

Fans can expect to see several more famous faces in the upcoming movie as the cast includes Arrested Development's Michael Cera as Allan, Shang-Chi star Simu Liu as another version of Ken, Insecure's Issa Rae as President Barbie, The Crown's Emerald Fennell as Midge, and Superstore's America Ferrera.

There’s also three Sex Education stars in the film as Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa and Connor Swindells all feature.

Barbie is directed by Little Women's Greta Gerwig, who also co-wrote the pink-filled film with her partner and Marriage Story director Noah Baumbach.

Barbie is released in cinemas on 21 July.
