Johnson was used by Britain head coach Joe Prunty in both of their fixtures against Puerto Rico in London, the first a 61-55 win on their return to the Olympic Park in the Copper Box.
Britain also triumphed 68-63 in overtime against Puerto Rico a day later in closed door match with Finland next up in Helsinki as Britain build towards their EuroBasket campaign.
Prunty has reduced his squad to 16 with a further four to be cut ahead of the tournament opener with Israel on September 4 and Johnson is determined not be one of them
"We just want to come out strong," said Johnson, who was part of the British team at the London 2012 Olympics last summer.
"Everyone is playing for a spot on the team for EuroBasket. I feel that we still have things to work on, but it's been great to come out with wins against Puerto Rico.
"We want to face as many [teams] as we can right now. We've been together for over a week and we've been playing against each other.
"So it's good to come and play against another team for chemistry and a better understanding of ourselves before we head to EuroBasket."
