The Chicago Tribune reported that Hinrich is in a walking boot and could miss one to two weeks.
New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire, who had knee surgery March 11, said he could be ready to play in the second round, if the Knicks get there.
Knicks coach Woodson said Stoudemire "absolutely" will play if he's ready, according to a report by Newsday.
The Knicks lead their first-round series against the Celtics 3-1.
The Houston Rockets recalled center Tim Ohlbrecht from Rio Grande Valley of the NBA Development League.
