Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams has told ESPN New York that he will be ready for the start of training camp October 1 despite having another MRI on his right ankle next week.

Williams, who said he was injured while working out in Utah more than two weeks ago, is in a walking boot because of a sprain and bone bruise.
