Bayern Munich's technical director Michael Reschke has lavished praise on the Real Madrid transfer chief Jose Angel Sanchez for managing to sign Marco Asensio for just £3.5m.
Sanchez works as club president Florentino Perez's second in command at the Bernabeu and has overseen some huge transfers in and out of the club in recent times.
But one deal that didn't involve too much money was the purchase from Mallorca in 2014, and the Spaniard has come in for some high praise from Reschke ahead of the Real Madrid's return leg with Bayern in the Champions League quarter-final.
Reschke said via Marca: "You have to make him a monument," and also believes that Asensio would probably not be allowed to leave the club for anything less than £50m.
After a couple of loan spells, including one back at his old club soon after signing, Asensio returned to the Bernabeu this season where he has started to show what he is really about.
He is widely tipped to become of one of the world's top players later on in his career, and has drawn comparisons to legendary Spanish playmaker Xavi, only with bags more pace.
At Madrid there is, of course, huge competitions for places, but he will be hoping to get the nod over Lucas Vasquez and Isco against Bayern to replace Gareth Bale, who will miss the game due to a calf injury.
