Will Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas last? E!’s Nina Parker weighs in: 'I don't think he is going anywhere'

Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas have been unavoidable if you’ve scrolled Twitter, opened a magazine or paid any attention to celebrity news during the pandemic: Earlier this year, it seemed as though they were photographed hand-in-hand grabbing coffee, walking a dog or openly posing for paparazzi on a near daily basis.

Affleck and de Armas, who met on the set of the upcoming film, “Deep Water” in 2019, haven’t been shy about flaunting their romance this year, and Nina Parker, who co-hosts E!’s late-night celebrity news show, “Nightly Pop,” thinks that that’s proof of how seriously Affleck is taking his latest relationship.

“I love them,” Parker told In The Know recently. “Honey, I think, that’s it for him. I don’t know if that’s it for her. But Ben, honey, if Ben is wearing little heart necklaces and walking down the street holding hands… I’ve never seen him whistle this tune, so I think she got him. I don’t think he is going anywhere, baby. She is on every policy he has.”

If Parker is correct in her assessment of Affleck and de Armas’ romance, it would represent a fairly drastic about-face on the “Batman” actor’s part: Earlier this year, he called his divorce from Jennifer Garner “the biggest regret of my life.”

As for her thoughts on other recent pop culture moments, Parker didn’t mince words when it came to MTV’s 2020 VMAs, which aired at the end of last month.

“I really miss the fans. I really miss seeing people in the audience, seeing the celebs being fans in the audience, so it was okay to me. I didn’t love it,” she told ITK. “Now we look at things with paranoia. So in my mind, I’m like, ‘Well, does everybody get COVID tested? Because this just — everybody took the picture in the same place. I hope everybody got tested, and nobody touched anything.’ You look at it with the COVID brain. It was a different experience. It wasn’t as fun, in my opinion. But you know, it’s definitely still a great distraction.”

When we asked Parker to share her thoughts on the latest “Real Housewives” drama centered around Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville, Parker seemed torn about how to feel.

‘I do think Denise is lying. You know, I like her! I like her. It’s just not anybody’s business, but you’re on a reality show, and [there are] so many receipts,” she explained. “The one thing I know about Brandi Glanville is she’s a lot of things, but she’s not really a liar. So it’s hard not to believe her.”

At the end of the day, as the E! personality sees it, with a slew of high-profile Bravo stars losing their spots on these reality shows recently, they have to put it all out there during filming in order to avoid facing the same fate as stars like Dorinda Medley, Vicki Gunvalson and, yes, Denise Richards.

“They have to do what they have to do. Everybody is trying to secure their spots because they taking peaches, they taking diamonds, they taking people’s spots away! People need to earn their spots,” Parker said. “So I get it, and it’s great. But I do feel like with ‘Beverly Hills,’ there’s always just one big issue every season, like last season it was PuppyGate. This season it’s Denise. So it’s always somebody’s turn. I wish they had more issues. With ‘Beverly Hills,’ it always seems like it’s one issue.”
