Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell has sent a message to Noni Madueke after the winger bagged a hat-trick in the Blues' thumping victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

This week has been dominated by off-the-field talk at Chelsea as the fallout of Maresca's brutal transfer approach continued. While the headlines have been dominated by Raheem Sterling's absence and subsequent approval to seek a move elsewhere, Chilwell is another player who has been told to look for a new club before the window closes.

Maresca admitted in a press conference that the former Leicester City man would need to go on loan to get minutes this season as competition for games was too high. This led to reports that Manchester United had been offered the opportunity to sign Chilwell to solve their left-back issues.

Currently, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are both injured and United manager Erik ten Hag is playing Noussair Mazraoui out of position to cover. Amid all the speculation surrounding his future, Chilwell showed that his focus is still on the Blues with his comments on social media.

After watching Madueke star in the 6-2 victory against the West Midlands club, the full-back took the opportunity to congratulate his teammate on Instagram. Posting on his story, the Englishman wrote: "Sky's the limit brother. You know what it is."

Since Maresca's admission that Chilwell will struggle for games, the 27-year-old has not been named in any squads including the one that beat Servette 2-0 in the UEFA Conference League play-offs first leg on Thursday night.
