The 24-year-old was on form from the off in the Czech Republic hitting all ten prone targets and only missing one while standing to top the podium in 31 minutes 56.2 seconds.
Brothers Martin and Simon Fourcade ended with silver and bronze respectively – the former finishing 14.6 seconds behind Russian Shipulin and the latter exactly another 29 seconds further away.
The French siblings, who finished the other way around in the 10km Sprint on Saturday, edged Shipulin’s teammate Dmitry Malyshko into fourth however Russia still dominated the top 11.
Evgeniy Garanichev was seventh, Andrei Makoveev tenth and Alexey Volkov 11th with Shipulin’s victory the nations’ second in Nove Mesto – Makoveev taking 20km Individual gold on Thursday.
