Heavyweights Germany, Spain and Belgium get their World Cup campaigns under way a day after Saudi Arabia pulled off one of the great upsets.

Argentina made a nightmare start to the tournament on Tuesday, suffering a sensational 2-1 loss to unfancied Saudi Arabia.

Japan will attempt to pull off another upset when they do battle with Germany, while Spain will be expected to make a winning start against Costa Rica before Belgium do battle with Canada - making only their second World Cup appearance.

Croatia, beaten by France in the 2018 final, and Morocco get Wednesday's action started.
