The first major of the golfing calendar is always a grand occasion, and not just because of the nature of the prize – The Masters course is possibly the most beautiful sporting venue in history.
Now, that sounds like a bold statement – and it is – but as arguments go this one has plenty of legs to stand on.

The azaleas are perhaps the most famed plant life on the course, but the perfect backdrop the world’s best golfers play against once a year is also bedecked with the lushest of lawns and more besides.
It’s safe to say the world’s golf fans would like to play a round or two on the beautiful course.
@TheMasters My favorite tournament and course in golf. How awesome it would be to play one round of golf there.
