Blackburn Rovers star banned after timewasting despite being substituted
Todd Cantwell will miss Blackburn Rovers' match against Luton Town through suspension.
The midfielder was booked for the fifth time this season after kicking a ball onto the pitch having been substituted at Sheffield Wednesday. Had Cantwell got through the game without a card, he'd have made it past the 19-game threshold.
It was a moment of madness from such a crucial player, who will now miss Saturday's clash. He is the third Rovers player to be served a one-game ban, following Tyrhys Dolan and Lewis Travis.
John Eustace did not want to focus too heavily on the disappointment, conceding it is "part of the game", though the nature will be a frustration.

The Rovers head coach may have Callum Brittain and Harry Pickering back available though. The latter has missed the last two games but is hopeful of returning to training on Thursday with the rest of the group.
Brittain missed out through illness, having picked up a virus on the morning of the 1-0 win at Hillsborough.
"Callum woke up this morning with a really bad virus, unfortunately," Eustace told The Lancashire Telegraph.
"It was a big miss, he's been a great player over recent weeks but Joe (Rankin-Costello) came in and I thought he was excellent."
