Jonjo Shelvey believes Blackpool are well placed to claim an immediate return to the Barclays Premier League.
Liverpool midfielder Shelvey scored six times during a 10-game loan spell at Bloomfield Road before being recalled to Anfield in light of serious knee injury suffered by Brazil international Lucas last week.
"The team can go up again, it's just about getting the level of consistency and doing it week in, week out," Shelvey told Blackpool's official website. "The lads are more than capable of doing that."
The 19-year-old is grateful for his time with Ian Holloway's squad and has not ruled out a return to help the Seasiders' promotion push.
He added: "I've got a lot to thank the fans and the club for because I've had the opportunity to play.
"Overall I think I've done well at Blackpool and I hope I've given the fans something to remember.
"If I'm allowed out on loan by Liverpool again in a short period of time then I'd love to come back."
