Bloemfontein Celtic coach Eymael reportedly ordered to return to Polokwane City

Eymael has been ordered to return to the Limpopo club by the PSL DRC committee this week, but he refuses to do so

Belgian tactician Luc Eymael has reportedly been ordered to leave Bloemfontein Celtic and return to Polokwane City.

According to The Sowetan, the order from the Premier Soccer League (PSL)'s Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) arrived at Celtic's offices on Tuesday.

Phunya Sele Sele's chief executive officer Khumbulani Konco confirmed that they had received an order from the PSL when speaking to the same publication.

“The order is out‚ ja. Look I cannot comment now. The order just came right now. So I can't comment on anything‚” Konco said.

Eymael surprisingly resigned as Polokwane head coach on the 9th of March 2017 and the following day he was announced as the new Celtic head coach.

However, Rise and Shine reportedly demanded R2,8 million in compensation for Eymael's services and they also referred the matter to the PSL's DRC.

Eymael, who holds the UEFA Pro Licence, the highest football coaching qualification, was then instructed not to sit on the Celtic bench during their competitive games.

As a result Lehlohonolo Seema and John Maduka continued as Celtic caretaker coaches during match days.

Polokwane have been under the guidance of Bernard Molekwa as a interim coach and Eymael is reportedly now expected to return to the Limpopo side.
