His elder brother, Landon, shared a photo of his late sibling to Instagram alongside a caption which read: "I love you forever King."

Brown Jr's mother is Kim Ward, who is also mother to Brown Sr's daughter La'Princia.

His death comes five years after the passing of his younger sister Kristina Bobbi who died in July 2015 at the age of 22. She had been in a medically-induced coma for six months after being found unconscious in her bathtub in January 2015.

She was the daughter of Brown Sr and singer Whitney Houston who were married from 1992 to 2007.

Houston died in February 2012 aged 48 after accidentally drowning in her bathtub, with heart disease and cocaine use acting as contributing factors.
