Middlesbrough youngster Dan Dodds has completed a loan move to in form National League North side Darlington.

The 21-year-old right back will link up with the the Quakers squad until January who have won their last six games in all competitions this season.

With one senior appearance to his name against Barnsley in the Carabao Cup this season, Dodds will be enhancing his development by looking to earn game time in Alun Armstrong's side.

Dodds said: "I've played my fair share of Under-21's games. I've made my first team debut this year so it's been good so far. I'm ready to kick on."

Speaking about the Quakers recent run of form, the right-back added: "That was probably the thing that pushed us over to come. I've seen how well they are doing and I'd like to join in with the fun."
