If you’ve ever cast envious eyes over your neighbour’s food processor, and the way it effortlessly slices, dices chops and purees, now could be the time to pounce.
This well equipped kitchen tool will soon have you cheffing like a pro.
Why we rate it
The Bosch MultiTalent 3 processor will make short work of everyday tasks, like blending mayonnaise or prepping vegetables for delicious homemade soups and open the door to more ambitious food prep, like making dough.
The 2.3 litre mixing bowl is a good size for this, holding around 0.8kg, and it’s transparent so that you can easily see if your dough has risen without having to remove the lid (and you really don’t want to do that, as yeast dough needs warm air to rise).
Buy it: Bosch MCM3100WGB MultiTalent3 Food Processor | £64.99 (Was £79.99) from John Lewis & Partners
Key specs include a 700W motor with a choice of two speed settings and a Pulse function. The latter is particularly good for onions, while the Slow setting is ideal for cucumbers and courgettes. Fiddly, tedious jobs that would have taken minutes can be effortlessly done in seconds.
There’s an assortment of accessories in the box, including a multi-functional stainless steel blade, plastic dough tool and a beating disc that allows you to whip cream and whisk egg whites.
Bosch suggests you’ll be able to practice 20 different techniques with this lot, so we can only assume you’ll soon be grating and grinding like a boss. Frankly, once I master smooshing ice to make frozen daiquiris I’m probably done.
A compact design (375 x 220 x 260mm), this smart looking Bosch won’t overwhelm your kitchen either. All the accessories are dishwasher-safe, and can be stored away in the bowl itself. Bosch cleverly uses a Smart marking system so you can reassemble your accessories when they’re needed.
