In addition to the Welsh light middleweight contest between Dai Jones and Jerome Samuels, the undercard will feature the home coming of 'Sugar Sweet' Bradley Pryce who will take on Latvian Raimond Snieze.

Pryce has been on the road of late, stepping in at short notice to fight some of Europe's top boxers like Frankie Gavin and Sergey Rabchenko, only to miss-out on the score cards despite putting up valiant efforts.

This time at the Newport Centre, South Wales he gets the chance to showcase his talents in-front of his Welsh fans.

The 32 year-old last fought in Wales back in September 2011 when he floored and out-pointed Danny Butler.

Cruiserweight prospect Danni Griffiths takes on the experienced Jamie Ambler, in a battle of South vs North Wales. 18-year-old Griffiths, from Nantymoel, has won his last three fights since dropping a contentious decision on his debut on the undercard of Cleverly vs Kovalev.

In Aberystwyth's Ambler he faces a vastly experienced journeyman, who has fought with the likes of Courtney Fry, Robin Reid and Paul Smith.

Tony Dixon of Mountain Ash has trouble finding opponents due to his powerful displays which have seen him remain unbeaten despite travelling to his opponents backyard.

In his fourth contest, the 21-year-old gets his first outing in his home country when he faces Poland's Sylwester Walczak in a welterweight contest.

In a rematch, Kyle King faces Darren 'The Punisher' Pryce, who is the younger brother of Bradley. The two met in 2011 with King winning over four rounds by a score of 39-37.

The first bout took place in the same venue, and it will be interesting to see who has developed better since that contest.

Promoter Steve Robinson has two of his fighters on the card, his son Luke Robinson and undefeated prospect Craig 'The Kid' Kennedy.

Luke takes on fellow Cardiffian Tom Price in a six round contest in the light welterweight division. Craig Kennedy meets tough, durable Ugandan Moses Matovu who is based in Banger, Northern Ireland. The ten round contest is for the Bronze British Masters belt.

There will be a Charity auction of Welsh Sports Memorabilia in aid of George Thomas Hospice Care.
