A bronze medallist from London 2012, Ogogo halted Telford's Kieron Gray after 2:00 of the second round.

Grey actually started the better of the two and wasn't overawed in the slightest. In fact, he might have even nicked the opener as he boxed on the front foot and scored to the body. Ogogo wasn't concerned and began to show his fast hands at the end of the round.

In the second, the Lowestoft prospect started to settle and began to open up with both hands. A huge right hook crashed in over Grey's low left hand and the 35 year-old crashed to the canvas.

It was a testament to Grey's heart and conditioning that he managed to get back on his feet at the count of eight. He wasn't all at sea, but referee Michael Alexander's decision to halt proceedings was entirely correct, as confirmed by Gray's lack of protest.

Ogogo weighed in for his debut at 10st 4lbs 2oz. Grey was heavier at 11st 3lbs 9oz.
