LATEST NEWS: Police update on Bradford man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

A Bradford man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a suspected shooting incident on a residential street in Bradford.

Police have been investigating the potential firearms discharge at a house on Christophers Court, Idle, Bradford, with a cordon in place for several days earlier this week.

Today, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "A 29-year-old man from Bradford has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody at this time."

Christophers Court is a relatively new-build cul-de-sac near Thorp Garth.

Enquiries are ongoing into the incident.
